PJ's for the Boys...

Working on PJ's for the boys. Got a little excited in the fabric store and now have a million pairs cut out. This post is purely a place to store details - I keep losing the piece of paper I wrote their measurements on!!

A: size 5 waist and rise, 19' elastic, size 6 length
N: size 5 waist and rise, 20' elastic, size 8 length

Pattern I am using is by Oli and Lilly and is their "simple lounge pants". It's a great pattern and really easy to follow. Definitely had to measure the boys first and try a practice pair for each kidlet, but now that I've got it right they are FLYING off the machine and straight onto a waiting kid. They each picked out their own fabrics and are super excited about their customized pants. I just want to stay focused and get them done before they grow any more! For this size I needed just one yard per pair. But once they need a full size 8 I will need to go up to 2 yards. Gets a little too pricey in terms of fabric beyond that point. I'll have to go back to store bought. Mind you, my guys are skinny and don't outgrown things as fast as I've heard some do so these should last awhile. Of course, now that I've said that they'll grown 8 inches overnight. Better get sewing :)
