Pioneer Village Quilts at the Creek - The Fox and the Owl Quits

These were two quilts that really caught my attention this year a the Pioneer Village Quilts at the Creek. I'm with N in his preference for more modern quilts and I sincerely wish these two, made by the same quilter, had been featured together.

I loved the simple, almost straight-line quilting and the colours. And I really loved the log-cabin detail. I love log cabin. Its so classic :) 

Would have taken more shots of the owl quilt but the boys were DONE by then and causing a rukus!
